This chandelier is very elegant and precious. The brass parts are delicately embossed and decorated with cast ornaments. The black parts here are made from wood to contrast with the fiery gold. The kings gold finish is partly manually polished to give the surface even more contrast and its special shine.
The shape of the chandelier strongly reflects its more recent origin in Historism where the naturalistic gave way to more geometric furnishings.
